I have such fond memories from my childhood of uncle Gary, he was always the fun uncle! Looking back at old photos I was always sitting on his lap.
Unfortunately I don’t have photos with him as we grew older, he always shy’d away from them! But still have lovely memories.
It was so nice to see him in hospital one last time, where he still made me and Emily laugh.
We will all miss you xx

Although I haven't seen Gary very often during our adult years I have many memories of him as a child. His beloved Mum, my 'Auntie Thelma', was my Mum's sister and our 2 families had many Sunday teas and days out together. Poor Gary was outnumbered by us 4 girls, the quiet 'older brother', but had the support of all our boy cousins at larger family gatherings. Our big family Christmas parties will always be a special memory for me, Gary was the quiet one with a gentle sense of humour,, always ready with a joke, a wry smile and a twinkle in his eye. He loved his Mum, Dad, sisters and of course his beloved children.
I am sad not to be joining you to pay tribute to Gary, I will unfortunately be away in France, but I will be thinking of you all.
Rest in peace Gary x
